“Art in the Park” will take place in Savatt Park on Main Street in Kings Park.
Participants must provide their own table, chairs, tents, art supplies. All participants must remove their vehicles after setting up. (Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic by 5:30 p.m.) There’s convenient access to Savatt Park from the Commuter Lot behind the Park.
Participants are required to keep their booth/table/sidewalk area clean and discard all garbage before leaving the Exhibition. Dumpsters will be available for your use. All tables, displays, tents, promotional items, etc. must be cleaned up and cleared off Main Street by 9:00 p.m.
All participants must have their reserved spaces and signed applications in by July 1.
Paintings, sculpture, graphic art and design, hand crafted jewelry and home items, woodworking, mosaics, photographic displays, and any other artistic works are welcome but a description of what you will be displaying must be cleared by the Art Committee. Authors may display and offer sale of their books or printed material.
Artists/Artisans will be responsible for the safeguarding of their own artwork. The Kings Park Chamber of Commerce does not take any responsibility for artwork while at “Monday on Main.”
